Now let me make my own list… Thing my grandmother understands that I don’t: Shorthand Slide rules Telegrams Wristwatches that have to be wound Silent butlers I could keep going, but I’m taking a 5-minute break from work, not an hour break. i don’t really find this depressing… unless you mean it makes you feel old? (heh, which is certainly true for me). but the only ones of these things i have any affection for are postcards & cursive (postcards because yay pictures! and cursive because my cursive handwriting is prettier than my print. BUT STILL HARDER TO READ, BECAUSE CURSIVE IS STUPID).

i don’t really find this depressing… unless you mean it makes you feel old?
