this is so dorky, but i can’t wait till my mom gets home from her vacation so i can go and play her the leonard cohen album and watch her face on the songs i know she’ll love

it just gets better every time i hear it, i swear. sometimes i have this sense like, maybe i just will never need other music again??? which is a lie but you guys, this album is sooo goooood. i don’t know why i’ve seen hardly anyone talking about it, it’s not like there’s been anything else going on in music lately, has there?
