“I don’t do hip-hop. I only do tap and ballet.” gosh you guys, The One Who Cries is really working overtime not to endear herself to me. (this followed a classmate’s comment that she did do hip-hop, which came up because we had a 3 minute dance party during which The One Who Cries sat still and scowled until we were back on the rug at which point she felt compelled to inform the whole class that “at my birthday party I’m going to have a dance floor.”) I love all kids I love all kids I love all kids.
