This entire interview is golden, meaning filled with Klosterman being the kind of douche for which Liz has no patience, and Liz, in fact, having no patience for him as he tries to bait her into insulting her own material, confronting her with The Liz Phair Narrative (seriously I was not making that up). She says at least six things I totally love.

But this, right here, is my #1 all-time favorite thing a celebrity has ever said in any context ever. Because burn.

whenever i feel tempted to have thoughts on klosterman i remember that this happened and thus the best use of klosterman-related energy i might muster would be to remind people about that time liz phair was the best right in the face of the worst.
